Chafer Beetle 2 - Insects
This is a chafer beetle, a relative of the Cockchafer beetle or May Bug. As far as I can tell, this is a member of the Hoplia species of which there is only one type in the UK. However, this particular one looks different to illustrations I've found. If you've any further information on ID I'd be happy to hear from you.
